Photographing families is the best. Families that live in the moment & play are my absolute favorites. This family is near and dear to my heart. When I was pregnant with my first child I introduced the gorgeous couple. Fast forward a few years and look at the joy on their faces, the sweet babies they created, and the love that they share. My heart is full.

What to do with your holiday portraits? by Mindy Ravines Photography

You’ve paid a professional photographer to photograph your sweet family for your holiday card & now what?? If you have the digital file it’s a no-brainer! Go to your favorite site (mine is Shutterfly…I’ve used them for years for my Christmas cards & they’ve always been a good color & contrast match!) & get creative. Once you’ve mailed your cards you might want to consider other ways to display your beautiful family around your home-OR-you might want to decorate Grandma & Grandpa’s home with a ‘Christmas Canvas!’ Here are a few samples of canvas work in my client’s homes. You could also go the ‘smaller’ route with a foam board mounted print-I typically display them with an easel (you can buy them at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby for around $5). I LOVE this look on a bookshelf! Another great option is to take an 8×10 & frame it in an 11×14 black frame with a white/cream matte….the print will*pop* & look amazing!! Take a look & see whatcha think XOXO Mindy
